The cakes here are great. Not your usual flavour combinations, something different every time.

First time at Anna's narrowboat cafe and we really enjoyed it. Only stopped for coffee this time but the food looked lovely and we'll be back! Perfect location for walkers along the Thames.

Quite the adventure to park a motorbike nearby and find! There's a little blackboard sign on the sharp bend next to the pub, meander from there for 5mins alongside the beautiful river (Thames) and over some weirs. Eventually finding firstly the chairs and then a little opening to the serving hatch and Anna's beaming smile! Coffee good, tried rhubarb and apple almond cake, both really rather good.

I have been to posh coffee shops in Europe, Asian and Middle East but this somehow beat them. I wish I had good photos to share. Nothing spectacular about the coffee and cakes we ordered; basic but in a positive way. Sipping coffee under the trees whilst munching a slice if homemade cake and your view is the Thames river, local houses and boats and you hear the birds chirpings, who will not find it so beautiful, relaxing and therapeutic?

Just love this café. Anna makes delicious cakes including gluten free. Oatmilk for coffee available and fantastic marmalade to purchase. Highly recommended.

All the cakes here are utterly addictive, always a nice treat to stop here when on a walk with the dogs. Been needing a cafe here for ages, such a brilliant idea!! Can’t wait to try the chocolate raspberry squidgy cake(!)
